The Internet...

For the last month and a half we have not had the internet in our home. So I have been going through withdrawls from blogging. Tim and I would on accasion go to someones house to use the internet. I am very happy to announce that I now have the internet in our home. I told Tim there was no way that he could go to the police academy leaving me home with no internet. It is a bad addiction I'm sure many of you would agree. So now I hope to update those of you who are interested in our lives...
Athen in now 5 months old, and has a bundle of energy and it sure keeps us moving... He has recently discovered that he can spit, so he spends his past time rolling around the floor and spitting at us. He also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Cali, a daughter of another police officer

A couple of night ago we took Athen to a water park. He loved watching the water shoot up from the pavement. At least he liked it until he got sprayed in the face.

As for Tim and I, Tim is headed on Monday the 4th to Spokane Police Academy. I will be here in the Tri-Cities trying to find activities to fill my time. My most recent passion is scrapbooking all the pictures I take of Athen. I find it creative and relaxing. If anyone wants to come visit, let us know, we have plenty of room!

Harris Reunion, Visit to Rexburg...

Over the 4th of July weekend Tim took a couple of extra days off of work for a last family trip before he enters the police academy on Aug 4th. We went to Twin Falls, ID for a Harris family reunion and then back to Rexburg for a couple of days.

At the reunion Tim tought his mom how to play Ladder Ball.. it was a good game...

Tim was cooling off in the stream that runs through his uncles property.
In Rexburg it was nice because Tim got some guys time and Haley some girl time. It was great to visit the friends that we miss so much and felt like we just up and left. It was wierd though, going back to Rexburg it always felt like home, but Tim and I really didn't feel apart of the college community anymore.
