Abby's Pizza

Let's not forget the final touch on the day's wonderful events. The after game stop at Abby's Legendary Pizza. Dad, Haley, and I were famished after the preceding game, so we scurried down the road about a half an hour for some good ol' grub. On top of all that, we were able to continue the day's theme of football by watching the California vs. Arizona State game at the resturant. It was a perfect day! - Tim

OSU Football

Last night I had the opportunity to accompany Tim on one of the much heard about Oregon Beaver football games. We started out by stopping by a very small old ice cream shop called King Kone. They have ice cream cones bigger than you've ever seen. The "King Kone" looks like two normal cones formed together. They were enormous. We then traveled to the stadium where Tim and I were able to experience both life two rows away from the field where the audience smelled of alcohol, and the life of the alumni reserved seating. This was my first outing to a real college football game and I enjoyed sharing it with my husband, who watched over me at all times to make sure his pregnant wife was not trampled on by obsessed Beaver Fans. The best part was having Tim there to explain to me certain calls and rules about football that I never knew. I still don't know much. It was a beautiful day outside, and we had the cheerful company of my father-in-law. Like I explained in my first post, we are not very good about taking pictures, so just imagine us decked out in black and orange beaver apparel, right in the middle of shouting crazed fans.

Bloggers

Well thanks to the creativeness of my sister-in-law Emily, she has started me thinking about an easier way to communicate with family. So she and Tim encouraged me to start a blog for our family. This way when we are in a different state, I'm a stay at home mom, and have a brand new baby everyone can keep easier tabs on us. We also have a very hard time remembering to take memorable photos of events in our lives, and so hopefully this will help us to think about bring a camera with us where ever we go. I hate to bore everyone with the details of how our lives started, so for those who arn't family, a brief overview is as follows...

Tim and I met in February of 2006 during the winter semester at Brigham Young University-Idaho. He being the outgoing and handsome person he is won me over the first week we started dating. We dated for 5 months and were engaged by the late part of July. We were married on December 27, 2006 in the Portland Oregon Temple. It was the most perfect day of my life. So far we have enjoyed ever minute of marriage, both the ups and the downs. Not to brag ladies, but I'm afraid that I have found the perfect husband.
