A Backyard.

Saturday we had a great turn out for laying sod down in our yard. We were so grateful for all the help we received, it is true that "many hands make light work" because within 2 hours we had layed about 5800 sq and our desert backyard turned into a sea of green.

We ran about 600 sq short of sod and will be finishing that here real soon. THANKS EVERYONE!

Fun.

One word to describe Athen. Fun.

I put the left over waffles from breakfast on the counter. turned around to get a tupperware, turned back around to no waffle. I had no idea where it had gone. I find Athen in the family room watching cartoons munching on the waffle. He's got quick fingers.

These awesome bright orange plugs will be accompanying Athen in all water activities.

Tubes.

Athen got tubes this morning. He did so well and is sleeping off the last bit of anesthesia now. Didn't he look cute in his gown and cap?

This little boy let me cuddle him today, procrastinating my 'to dos', reminding me of why I'm a mom and how there is nothing better.
