Family Portraits...

The Dorman's were our special guests this Holiday. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are pleased to say our house is broken in. We also had the opportunity to have our talented sister-in-law take our family portraits for the year. Thanks Em! ENJOY!

Pie & Ice Cream...

Just spreading the word about a great deal I stumbled upon. Thru Tuesday at Albertsons when you buy one frozen sara lee pie you get another pie free plus two cartons of bryers ice cream any flavor all for $6.39. Yes, two pies and two ice creams for $6.39. No I'm not a spokesman for Albertson I just thought this was a good deal. Pie choices I saw were Pumpkin, Cherry, Apple, Dutch Apple, and Mince. Ice cream was everything from vanilla to rocky road to mint chocolate chip and more. I agree that frozen pie is nothing compared to homemade pie, but I thought these would come in handy when I don't have time to make my own...

The Cricut Expression...

I was skimming channels while folding laundry and fell upon an infomercial for the Cricut Expression. My sister in law has the basic cricut that I've used and it is neat, but the new expression ROCKS! I WANT ONE! (hint hint Tim) Anyway if you haven't heard of them, you have to check it out. If you are crafty or not this makes everything a cinch.

The Harris House...

My family has been bugging me to get pictures up. Well I'm feeling pretty tired after the move (I will note this was our 7th move within 2 years) so it will probably be a while till I get my energy back to take pictures. But in the mean time these were the last pictures I took before we moved in and I hope they can satisfy you (mom) until you come check it out yourself.
Not shown in this picture is our fence and a tree in the front yard.

WE MOVED IN...

We have officially moved in to "OUR HOUSE"! The move went smooth and we had lots of help. We will post pictures when we get a chance.

Today I took Athen to the doctor because there has been no change in him since my last post. I have a constant smell of very foul poopy diapers following me where ever I go. The Doctor said that Athen has a viral infection. So does anyone know what I can do for him? Or how long these usually last? I feel so overwhelmed with trying to finish packing, clean our rental, and wash poopy clothes all day. I am grateful however that Tim's mom was able to come to my rescue for a couple days and watch Athen while I went to all the appointments to wrap up the closing of our house. Then on Wednesday I was surprised with dinner provided by the Relief Society and a very wonderful person named Kate! Thank You!

Do all Mothers feel helpless when their children are sick? Anyway... I must put my shoulder to the wheel and press on. This is a trial for me and I will get through it.

Athen...

I have seen other mothers call for motherly advice on their blogs so I've decided to do the same. Last night I got home from dropping Tim off with his car pool to find Athen with a very runny explosion in his pants (sorry for the visual). Then this morning I was woken up by a crying baby with yet another even worse one. So in tub he went at 5:00 and redressed. Well he was acting a little fussy so I though "I'll give him a bottle", two seconds after he finished his bottle there was a gag and then throw up all over the floor. So that was my morning, thank goodness for baby Tylenol because now he is sleeping. Anyway, this seams to be a regular thing every once in a while with him. Abnormal (for him) poopy diapers and then throwing up just after he has had a bottle or in the middle of sleeping... So I'm wondering if any of you experienced moms have any advice of what could be wrong (if anything) or what I should do. He has had one of his top teeth poke through a very little bit this weekend. So do these symptoms come with teething??? Are these signs of a lactose intolerant baby? I'm just baffled. I've already taken him to the doctor 3 times with these questions and no answers. I'll go again if I need to, I just feel like the worst mom if I have to show my face there again before his 9 month well check. What do you think???

On another note... I babysat the kids of some friends of ours this last Thursday and they have a little girl who is a couple weeks older than Athen. I think he has a crush on her because he can't leave her alone. I left the room for a few seconds to come back and find Athen sitting in Cali's lap. I though this was to cute.
